How We Collect and Use Information We collect the following types of information about you: Information you provide us directly: When you contact us via our web site form we ask for certain information such as your name and e-mail address. We use this information to operate, maintain, and provide to you the features and functionality of the Service. Your details are never passed onto third parties. The email address must be valid. It is this email that we will use to obtain payment via way of a PayPal invoice. Once payment has been received the images will be converted. Analytics information: We may directly collect analytics data, or use third-party analytics tools and services, to help us measure traffic and usage trends for the Service. These tools collect information sent by your browser or mobile device, including the pages you visit and other information that assists us in improving the Service. We collect and use this analytics information in aggregate form such that it cannot reasonably be manipulated to identify any particular individual user. Cookies information: When you visit the website, our analytics system may send one or more cookies — a small text file containing a string of alphanumeric characters — to your computer that uniquely identifies your browser and lets us see how our customers are using the site so we can in turn look to improve the quality of service we can offer to you. A cookie may also convey information to us about how you use the Service (e.g., the pages you view, the links you click and other actions you take on the Service), and allow us or our business partners to track your usage of the Service over time. Your Images: The Copyright of your images remains with you, the client – Your  pictures will not be shared or reproduced in any way. On rare occasions we may write to you to ask if we can use a particular image on the website gallery. All scanned images are removed from our computer database 1 month after original processing. If you are using our cloud storage, we will remove once month after link has been sent, unless you have requested us to store your images longer. Your 8mm Film and VHS: Where at all possible you must check that there are no problems with the film media. We can not be held responsible for any damage that may occur to the media when converting it to digital. If you are unsure that they will run through the conversion process then please do not send in the media. All 8mm and VHS media do deteriorate over time. Postage Please make sure that the products you send are packaged correctly to avoid damage. We can not be held responsible for items that have arrived and damaged beyond repair. When we return an item we will also make sure that they are packaged correctly, however once again we can not be held responsible for damage caused in transit by postal workers.
